Navigating and Saving A Preset - V1.12 Firmware.
PRESETS EXPALINED
V1.10 firmware.
COLORTONE provides three presets on their 2025 pedals.
Navigation / Cycling of the three presets is achieved by momentarily holding down both footswitches. Each dual footswitch action will cycle to the next preset. When the preset is successfully changed the Tempo LED will change color to indicate which preset is active.
Preset 1 = Green Tempo LED
Preset 2 = Red Tempo LED (Free Mode) Default Startup Preset
Preset 3 = Amber Tempo LED
The default startup preset is Preset 2 (Red LED). Preset 2 is the only live preset with all the control functions active. The settings from Preset 2 can be saved to either of the other presets .
NOTE The recalled settings in Preset 1 and Preset 3 are not editable while selected except for tempo which can be momentarily updated via the tap tempo function. (MIDI controllers can override preset settings with CC controls or a MIDI expression controller). If you need to tweek the preset you will have to remake it in Preset 2 and then save / overwrite those settings in your desired preset or use MIDI.
SAVING A PRESET
Craft a set of settings you like in Preset 2. Then Cycle to the Preset you wish to save to. Press and Hold down the Left Hand Footswitch until the RHS LED Flashes green. You have now overwritten that preset with the settings you just made in Preset 2.
